HON1012 12mm Drain Oil Changing Hose For Hon-da GC160,GX360, GX390, GX340, GX270, GX240 Series Engines. Operating Steps: Step 1: Run the Engine to Warm It Up Start the lawn mower and let the engine run for 5–10 minutes. Warm (but not hot) oil has better fluidity, carries away more impurities, and ensures a more thorough and cleaner drain. Step 2: Locate and Prepare the Drain Tube ① Turn off the engine and disconnect the spark plug wire for safety. ② Park the lawn mower on a flat, level surface. ③ Locate the drain tube: Typically, this yellow hose (often with a black or yellow plastic cap at the end) extends from near the bottom of the engine and is secured along the chassis. You may need to open or remove the maintenance panel on the side of the mower to access it. ④ Rotate the bolt-free section of the drain tube to connect it to the drain port. You may need a wrench or other tools to assist with tightening, but avoid using excessive force. Then, loosen the bolt at the end of the drain tube to begin the draining process. Remember to place a pan or container underneath to catch the drained oil. Once finished, screw the bolt back into the tube.
