The rear stake pocket is\ntrapezoid shaped, and that is because it is designed to be a hand-grip and\nthere is a corresponding step in the rear bumper for climbing on to the truck\nbed. We don’t want to cover a handgrip. In any case, the walls are flush (like\nan elevator shaft) and won’t accept a Bull Ring. The front holes are covered\nby the plastic rail cap, but we don’t recommend cutting them open. There is no\nrepair for a cut rail cap, and the stake pocket holes underneath also have\nflush walls which don’t accept a standard Bull Ring installation. But we made\nyour truck Better !
