Each Sata, SSD\/HDD device is 1 lane. If you have your video card\nplugged into the top x16 slot it's taking 16 of those lanes. So if you have a\nvideo card plugged into the x16 slot. Then plug this into the x1 or x4 slots.\nIts not going to work. You also need to make sure you've gone into your BIOS\nand set PEG and all the other PCIE to Gen1. 2.The other issue is. Some boards\ndisable slots based on what you have installed. Like if you have an M.2 slot.\nThere is likely something else being disabled on your board when using it, or\nits sharing bandwidth. Read your MB Manual and look to see the section on\nStorage and read M.2 Info, and the section on Expansion slots and read the\ninformation there.
