Starrett 166A Pin Vise Tool – Holds Drills, Wires, Jewelry, Taps Up to 0-0.040" (1mm) with Insulated Octagonal Handle for Shock Protection, Tapered Collet
Size:1 Pack The Starrett 166C pin vise is a tool holding device that allows small tools to be held in place with positive acting jaws with interchangeability. This model holds workpieces up to 0.125" (3.2 mm) in diameter, and has an octagonal-shaped handle that prevents the tool from rolling when it’s set down. Its PVC insulated handle protects the user from shock. The tapered collet provides maximum clamping surface. The vise has a 2-5/32" handle length and 3-55.64" overall length (with chuck closed). The body diameter is narrower than the chuck to enable fast opening and closing of the chuck and faster rotation when working on small workpieces. The L.S. Starrett Company manufactures precision measuring tools, metrology and testing equipment, and saw blade products. The company, founded in 1880, is headquartered in Athol, MA.
