Master Magnetics High Temperature, Heavy-Duty Work Holding Magnet, 5.25"" Overall Length, 0.875"" Width, 1.375"" Height, and 2 Each 0.281"" Mounting Holes, 65 Pounds Pull, 1 Each
This work holding magnet is built to handle considerable abuse and temperatures up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit. Bi Polar, 2-Pole design holds ferrous metal items vertically or horizontally with minimum sliding. Hold and transfer parts on paint racks, industrial ovens, or for oil industry. Align work pieces during welding operations.
Product Features
- Designed to hold flat steel surfaces on contact with nothing between magnet and steel surface up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit
- 65 pounds pull rated on direct contact with 1/4" thick, flat, and smooth ferrous steel plate while pulling magnet perpendicular to steel plate. Pounds of pull are less on thinner ferrous steel surfaces or steel with lower iron content. Layers of paint and other finishes decrease the pounds of pull.
- Clean steel surface, place in contact with magnet, and cover the entire length and width of the magnet to hold properly.
- Magnet assembly made of steel, stainless steel strap over magnet with all-welded construction, ceramic magnets, and black powder coat finish
- Includes 2 mounting holes in steel back plate approximately 4.50" from center to center
