Material The fiberglass media is manufactured from 100%\nrecycled crushed glass known as “cullet.\" The continuous glass fiber\nmanufacturing process eliminates the potential hazards of respirable\nfiberglass particles within the media pad. How does it work? When particles\nsuch as dust, pet dander and household chemicals pass through the filter, they\nbecome polarized. These polarized particles join together to form bigger\nclusters that are more easily captured and collect on the fiberglass pad with\nan activated carbon center screen. The activated carbon center media pad is a\nnon-woven polyester base fabric. The carbon media is UL certified for flame\nretardancy, class 2. The fiberglass media becomes polarized by the charge from\nthe power supply and acts like a powerful magnet to attract sub-micron\nparticles. What is included?
