Adafruit ADXL335 Triple Axis Ready Accelerometer
Adafruit ADXL335 Triple-Axis Ready Accelerometer
Adafruit Ready Triple-Axis Accelerometer is a small, thin, low power, complete 3-axis accelerometer with signal-driven voltage outputs. The product measures acceleration with a minimum full range range of +/-3 g. It can measure static acceleration due to gravity in tilting applications as well as dynamic acceleration due to motion, shock or vibration. Adafruit Ready Three-Axis Accelerometer now has an integrated 3.3V regulator - making it a perfect choice for connecting to a 5V microcontroller like the Arduino. This breakout comes with 3 analog outputs for X, Y and Z axis measurements on a 0.75 x 0.75 inch breakout board. The ADXL335 is the latest and greatest in analog devices, known for their exceptional quality MEMS devices. The VCC takes up to 5V in and regulates it to 3.3V with an output pin. The analog outputs are ratiometric: This means that 0g measurement output is always at half of the 3.3V output (1.65V ), -3g at 0V and 3g at 3.3V with full scaling in between. Fully assembled and tested and comes with standard 8 pin 1/8" connector in case you want to use it with a breadboard or perfboard. Two 2mm mounting holes for easy attachment. The XYZ filter capacitors are 0.1uF for a bandwidth of 50 Hz. RoHS/WEEE lead-free compliant.
