Well, with the SparkFun TMP102\nDigital Temperature Sensor, we've made it just about as easy as it gets. Based\non the original Digital Temperature Sensor Breakout - TMP102, we've added\nQwiic connectors to bring this board into our plug-and-play Qwiic Ecosystem\nand added an address jumper instead of breaking out the address pin. However,\nwe still have broken out 0.1\"-spaced pins in case you prefer to use a\nbreadboard.The TMP102 itself is an easy-to-use digital temperature sensor from\nTI. While some temperature sensors use an analog voltage to represent the\ntemperature, the TMP102 uses the I2C bus of the single-board computer to\ncommunicate the temperature.The TMP102 is capable of reading temperatures to a\nresolution of 0.0625°C, and is accurate up to 0.5°C. The breakout has built-in\n4.7kΩ pull-up resistors for I2C communications and runs from 1.4V to 3.6V. If\nyou're hooking up multiple I2C devices on the same bus, you may want to\ndisable\/enable the pull-up resistors for one or more boards. I2C communication\nuses an open drain signaling, so there is no need to use level shifting.The\nSparkFun Qwiic Connect System is an ecosystem of I2C sensors, actuators,\nshields and cables that make prototyping faster and less prone to error. We now use a SMD 6-pin header\non the bottom, which makes it smaller and more compact. Functionality has\nremained the same.This is a basic breakout board for the FTDI FT232RL USB to\nserial IC. The pinout of this board matches the FTDI cable to work with\nofficial Arduino and cloned 3.3V Arduino boards. It can also be used for\ngeneral serial applications. The major difference with this board is that it\nbrings out the DTR pin as opposed to the RTS pin of the FTDI cable. The DTR\npin allows an Arduino target to auto-reset when a new Sketch is downloaded.\nThis is a really nice feature to have and allows a sketch to be downloaded\nwithout having to hit the reset button. This board will auto reset any Arduino\nboard that has the reset pin brought out to a 6-pin connector.The pins labeled\nBLK and GRN correspond to the colored wires on the FTDI cable. The black wire\non the FTDI cable is GND, green is DTR. Use these BLK and GRN pins to align\nthe FTDI basic board with your Arduino target.There are pros and cons to the\nFTDI Cable vs the FTDI Basic. This board has TX and RX LEDs that allow you to\nactually see serial traffic on the LEDs to verify if the board is working, but\nthis board requires a Mini-B cable. The FTDI Cable is well protected against\nthe elements, but is large and cannot be embedded into a project as easily.\nThe FTDI Basic uses DTR to cause a hardware reset where the FTDI cable uses\nthe RTS signal.This board was designed to decrease the cost of Arduino\ndevelopment and increase ease of use (the auto-reset feature rocks!).
